It was the perfect setting for an unforgettable day. On January 26, Rancho Los Remedios hosted anevent organized by Outstanding in the field, an immersive culinary experience.
A table more than a kilometer long was set in the middle of Vinedo San Miguel vineyards. Renowned chef Donnie Masterton, owner of The Restaurant in San Miguel de Allende, created a tasting menu of regional cuisine that delighted the palate of the more than 100 guests.
We provided our own wines from Viñedo San Miguelwhich complemented the cuisine and this extraordinary day.
Founded by Jim Denevan in 1999, Outstanding in the field wasborn as a radical alternative to the conventional culinary experience. Instead of supplying ingredients to a restaurant, they take the restaurant directly to the sources. Its goal is to connect diners with the origins of their food while celebrating the working hands that feed them: farmers, chefs, fishermen, cheese makers, wine growers, brewers and many more.
